Is ScaleTech GDPR-compliant?
Yes. ScaleTech is an EU company based in Vilnius, Lithuania, and works under the GDPR. We sign an Article 28 data processing agreement and, for EU engagements, no third-country transfer mechanism is required.
Do you sign NDAs and assign intellectual property to the client?
Yes. We work under NDA and assign full ownership of the work product — code, designs and documentation — to the client, agreed contractually before the engagement starts.
Can you meet enterprise security and procurement requirements?
Yes. We make delivery, security and reliability explicit so your CISO, procurement and finance teams can evaluate risk before price — security processes, data handling, access control and documented delivery.
Are you ready for DORA and regulated fintech work?
Yes. We align processes and contracts with the EU Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) and have delivered regulated fintech platforms end to end, including a licensed European investment platform.
Where is your team based, and do you subcontract?
Our engineering team is in-house in Vilnius, Lithuania (EU). We don't hand your project to anonymous subcontractors — you work with the named people assigned to your engagement, in a CET time zone and with strong English.
How do you price and structure engagements?
Two models: a dedicated team billed monthly, or a fixed scope for well-defined projects. Rates are transparent and seniority-based, with a named lead and a clear monthly cadence — no lock-in beyond an agreed notice period.
How quickly can you start?
Usually within one to three weeks. After a short discovery we assemble the right team and agree scope, so delivery can begin quickly without cutting corners on setup.
What happens to the code and IP if we stop working together?
Everything is yours. We hand over source code, documentation, credentials and infrastructure and support a clean transition — no lock-in and no data held hostage.
Where is our data hosted?
By default in EU data centres — AWS, Google Cloud or Azure regions inside the EU — under GDPR data handling, least-privilege access and documented security processes.
Do you offer SLA-backed support after launch?
Yes. We provide support and maintenance with defined response times and a named contact, so the product stays reliable as it scales.
